Airlines' passenger traffic to return to pre-sanction level soon

MOSCOW, Jul 3 (PRIME) -- Russian airlines’ passenger traffic will return to the pre-sanctions level this year, head of the Federal Air Transport Agency Alexander Neradko said on Monday.

"We expect that these figures could return to the pre-sanction level in 2023," Neradko said.

Russian airlines carried more than 111 million people in 2021 and 95 million people in 2022. The Transport Ministry earlier forecasted the traffic at more than 101 million people in 2023.
